Default 9k for a AP900

Hi,

do you have a link to a photo of that setup? If you can get an AP900 by all means go for it! BUT dont forget a camera costs $$, too, and Hyperstar probably doesnt need 5 minute unguided exposures.

Paul

My kit* is currently in "no-mans land" between the USA and the UK (it left LAX on Sunday afternoon according to USPS), and am desperately hoping it doesnt get stuck for too long in customs here in the UK... I might be lucky and get it before Christmas.

Any pics you have of the setup would keep me going until mine arrives

i just got my adapter today. I did 5x1min shots of Orion with a Orion O-III filter. Not to bad. I will post pictures when I am done. I am still new to all this and being 18 its hard to drop the cash for a QHY8 at the moment. So the Orion Star Shoot II, HS3, filter adapter, and a C-8 Nexstar GPS CF with feather touch micro focuser is my imaging set up. My images dont seem to be as nice and sharp as everyone elses. But I will post my Orion shot.

Got that Orion image ready for the gallery yet, Kevin? Also I`m curious to see what the filter adapter looks like (if you have a picture of that)

Sorry for the wait I will post a picture tomorrow of the hyperstar with the adapter. My Orion shot didnt come out to good I need to play with it. I dont have photoshop yet so I dont have as sharp of images as the rest of you do. Someday soon I will be able to shoot as good as you guys. But hey I am probably the youngest person in the world to own a Hyperstar!

[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]As promised pictures of the Hyperstar 3 and the new filter adapter. The filter adapter has my O-III filter in it and the camera is a Orion Starshoot II one shot color.
